Women lives in a van with 320 rats

Authorities in California found the animals had clawed into upholstery, burrowed into seats and gnawed the engine wiring.
The lady living in the van has agreed to give them up after “asking for help” from a local charity.
The animals had reportedly been seen coming and going from the van and prompted complaints from people in the area.
Authorities collected about 320 rats and more than 100 are now up for adoption.
The woman has found a new place to stay.

Related imagefor the lock down we had to wait until 10 o'clock till the bell rings a couple of times. until the bell rings we have to leave our tables and get under the table. We had to wait for 15 minutes until the principal comes to our class room and tell us to get up.

School values 😁😁

Our school values are Whanaungatanga, Manaakitanga, Tukumarie, Rangimarie and ako.

Ako means learning and teaching from others

Rangimarie means peace. it means being kind to others. there's a word called "what goes around comes around". which means if u do something for them they will do the same for you.

Tukumarie means tolerance. which means being patient. being patient means a person who waits for others to go and they wait for there turn.

Manaakitanga means caring for others. which means helping your friends and others around you. An example of caring for others is when your friend doesn't know what to do you help them.

Whanaungatanga means building positive relationships. building relationships means making new friends and meeting new people you don't know.

Ako means learning and teaching from others. Ako is very easy to show. for example you can show ako by teaching your friends new strategies and you can even show someone how to play a sport or instrument.

Encourage😁

WALA: encourage
encourage means to help others to do more work or to encourage them to join an class activity.
encourage can be cheering up a friend or making them feel better.
For an example when your friend is sad you can encourage them or cheer them up.
encouraging is helpful for others and yourself

My role model

My role model is anthony milford. He is a professional NRL rugby league player and also a respectful player during his rugby games and he shows sportsmanship to others.

Anthony milford has been committed to the broncos for 7 years. He shows his skills in all his games and he shows sportsmanship during his games. He gets most tries in all the games he plays. Anthony milford inspires me because he is good at rugby and has played for my favorite team.when he's on the field he's not cocky and when the other team loses he shakes there hand. anthony milford has been committed to the broncos to play for them and to help them win tournaments.

Anthony milford is a respectful player during his rugby games and rugby tournaments. And he is respected by other nrl players and fans of his own. Anthony milford is respected because he is committed to the nrl team which is broncos.

And he is respectful to others because he is a humble and gracious loser and he's not cocky and that's why people respect him.the effect of being respected by millions around the world is the popularity and he is known for helping charities.

Anthony milford is a good rugby player and he shows sportsmanship in his games and he shows sportsmanship by sharing the ball and helping players get trys and by not being cocky.
When he's on the field he shows sportsmanship and when the other team loses he shakes there hand and says good luck next time.the effect of showing sportsmanship is being a good nrl player and to help his opponents to try next time.

This is my role model anthony milford. This sums up all of the things i think of him he is such a amazing man and a awesome skilled rugby player and he is influencing me to become a NRL rugby league player.

IT- explanation text

What happens when you are asleep? When you are sleeping there are 4 stages for your sleep and REM sleep. Stage 1 is when your brain reduces alpha waves and increases theta waves and your eye movements slow down and you can easily be woken up. Stage 2 is when we spend half of our sleep in this stage and when brain creates cindle waves and connected to motor learning like sports, instruments. Stage 3 is when your brain produces slower delta waves and harder to be woken. REM sleep which stands for rapid eye movement and adults spend about 20 percent of there sleep in this stage well infants spend about 50 percent in this stage. during REM sleep your eyes moves quickly and your body's  muscles are paralyzed also you have vivid dreams and the purpose of REM sleep still remains a mystery. That's what happens when you are sleeping. THE END

Rugby is better than Netball

I believe that rugby is better than netball cause it is more physical and makes u more fit and you get paid more money.

I think that rugby is better cause rugby is more exercise and get more fit also more money and netball players only have to stand still when they get the ball.

I Agree that Rugby makes thousands of dollars but netball makes 1.5 Million dollars Which is shocking.

My first reason is that you have more energy to run 109.4 yard around the field, and netball fields are 8.30 meters which is small for warm up running. Shawn Johnson is a Rugby legend and has made 10 million dollars over the years.

Cars should be Banned!

I believe that  cars should be banned because global warming is a disaster for homeless people and they might sweat and may thirst.

On Monday 24th September 2018 Room 7 did a blindfold challenge. We wanted to have fun and make our morning a bit interesting by playing a game.

Firstly Miss Ashley told us the rules which was no touching the tables or pieces of paper on the floor or you will lose points.“  However you are allowed to touch the chairs because you sometimes have to step over them to get to the end. Next we got into buddies. My buddy was Lucina.  We had to line up by the heater in our buddies.

First it was my turn to go so Lucina (my buddy)  put the blindfold on me (over my eyes) and helped me to stand up. The blindfold was tight it felt like a constrictor boa on my face. I felt so confused and disorientated because the blindfold was covering my eyes. Lucina told me to go left, right, straight and step over.” I was feeling nervous and a little bit scared because what if she was tricking me?“ and I was really doing something silly. I got to the end safely and took my blindfold off.

blindfold

WRITE YOUR STORY HERE. On friday the 21st of september in the morning at 9:00 room 7 had a blindfold course,

Miss Ashley told us to get in buddies and my buddie was Timote. We had to line up by the heater and wait untill miss Ashley finished making the course for us. When she finished she grabbed her phone and told us the instructions and than she called up each buddy to do the course because if all of us went we could not fit in the whole course. So she called up each one and we went. The buddy at the back has to tie up the blindfold  on the other buddies face. Miss called up me and Timote and I had to guide Timote through the scary, horrible forest. I told Timote to go left and right and back also jump, go. So I lead him through the course and we had to touch the egg, purple thing so Timote touched it than we had to go back and sit down.

Now it is my turn Timote had to put the rope on me to cover my eyes than miss told us to go up so Timote guide me thru Timote changed the course to a harder One so me and Timote stand up and timote told me were to go than I touched the egg thing than Miss than we finished our fun activity.

I felt fearless and exited
The first and hard one was easy
I want to do it because it was fun
My favorite thing was everything
